Ian Sacks

Ian has a wide range of broadcasting and reporting experience. He is a sports anchor and reporter at KELO in Sioux Falls, S.D. In addition to appearing on the traditional newscasts as a sports anchor, he co-hosts the station's daily digital sports show and serves as a play-by-play announcer for the game of the week. He is also the site manager to Mid-Major Madness and co-host of its podcast "Anything But Mid." Prior to these roles, Ian was a play-by-play announcer for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, spent two years as a news producer, worked as a production assistant at YES Network and MSG, and called games for Iona College and LMC-Media. A native New Yorker, he graduated from Iona with his Bachelor's and from Arizona State's Cronkite School with his Master's.
